How we evaluate products
Research that shows its working.
Research-based evaluation considers manufacturer documentation, specifications, features, intended use cases, compatibility, design, and known limitations. Missing information is flagged for verification. We do not infer a specification from a similar model.
Research and hands-on testing
Research-based analysis is labelled separately from hands-on testing. We claim physical testing only when documented testing evidence exists. Real recommendations need sources, a verification date, and human editorial approval.
